Kolkata , Oct 5 : This year is definitely different to the residents of Beleghata New C.I.T Buildings because Abasik Kalyan Samity , the organizer of the Puja has brought a new thing with the traditional Puja and this is certainly giving an extra attraction to the residents in the 36th years Puja .

And what is new is bringing some tribal people from Bankura district to dance and song during the Puja days . They have hired a total of 31 people for 4 days . The Puja has got already a prize from ‘Hallo Kolkata’.

The organizers brought 31 people including Bishnu Pada Soren , Laksman Hasda ,Sukhlal Hasda and four children from Simlapal PS area in Bankura District .

Question : How is Kolkata and It’s people ?

Bishnu Pada : We are here for first time . Kolkata is a nice city and its amazing how people love each other !! and it’s fine to be here during Puja days and the people of kolkata are so nice and so friendly .What made us glad last night was the participation of the residents when we danced last night and we tribal people were talking about it .

Question : Your profession in other season ?

Bishnu Pada : During Puja times , we do the job as you see us doing here and in the other season , we mainly do cultivation work . We have a team to perform such dances and wherever we go , we go together .

Question : How is your village ? Hospitals ? Water ?

Bishnu Pada : It’s fine when it is not summer .In summer ,we have lots of problem because of drinking water . In summer water level goes down . Government has installed tube wells in villages. However , We have Simlapal Government Hospital .Previously , the health system was not good enough and now it seems it is going to be better because it seems that the system has been changing .

Question : Electricity ?

Bishnu Pada : Not yet but lines are being set up …:)

Question : Maoists ?

Bishnu Pada : Not so much active like before . Previously , general people had so many problems . Hope , peace will come back again …
